Both Liverpool and Brentford are coming off victories heading into Sunday’s encounter. ‘The Reds’ comfortably beat Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town, while Thomas Frank’s side edged past Crystal Palace thanks to a winner from Yoane Wissa.
Arne Slot will be happy with his team’s display in their opening fixture and will now look to kick on and give the fans a performance to cheer in his first home game of the season.
