Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups

Spurs have not done too well in recent North London derby’s having not beaten their opponents in the league since May 2022. Ange Postecoglu will hope that his side will put on a performance in front of their home supporters this Sunday.

In their most recent outing, Tottenham got their first win of the season by beating Everton 4-0 in convincing fashion. They managed to do so without new signing Dominic Solanke who is hoping to be fit enough to return in time to face ‘The Gunners’ after picking up an ankle injury in their opening game of the season.

Arsenal are coming off a disappointing result as they were held to a draw at home against Brighton. Declan Rice was controversially sent off in the game and will miss this Sunday’s fixture through suspension.

In other news, captain, Martin Odegaard is a major doubt for the game after he was injured while away on international duty with Norway. This will give Mikel Arteta a selection headache as he will be without two key midfielders for such an important game. Jorginho is expected to fill in for Rice to add stability to the midfield, while Raheem Sterling will also be available to make his debut if called upon.

We predict that Arsenal will come away with the win this weekend.

Predicted lineups:

Tottenham: Vicario, Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son, Solanke

Arsenal: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber, Jorginho, Partey, Havertz, Martinelli, Saka, Trossard
