Match predictions, preview

Pep Guardiola’s side find themselves four points behind league leaders Arsenal going into their encounter with Brighton. Having had four days rest since their last game they will no doubt field a full-strength side in an attempt to close the gap.

In his press conference on Wednesday, Pep revealed that his team will be without striker Erling Haaland who is nursing an injury. Julian Alvarez is expected to lead the line in his place

Brighton are currently in tenth place and are still in the hunt to finish in a European position.

De Zerbi’s team has been on a poor run of form having not won in the league since early March. Injuries have not been kind to ‘The Seagulls’ throughout the season, and things have gone from bad to worse following the news that Pervis Estupinan and Evan Ferguson have both been ruled out for the rest of the season. We expect Man City to come away with all three points on Thursday.
