Three French, three English, one Irish and one South African sides left at the quarter-final stage. The first game up is Quins traveling to France for a difficult match against Bordeaux, who beat Saracens easily last weekend. Saracens thrashed Harlequins last month in the Premiership, so on that basis Quins have very little chance. So a French win. The intriguing match is a rematch of last year’s final with Leinster and La Rochelle, which La Rochelle won in Dublin. So the French side have no fear of playing in Ireland and having won a tight game in South Africa last week will be well up for it. The defeat in last year’s final still rankles with Leinster who are out for revenge. Another very tight game with Leinster prevailing this year. Northampton have the best chance of the three English sides of progressing to the sem-final and should keep up their unbeaten run in the competition. In the last match on Sunday it’s very hard to see Exeter winning in Toulouse, who have Antoine Dupont at scrum-half running the game.
