Preview, prediction
A real test for Arsenal against another top European side, a game that will show whether they can go all the way in this competition this season. Arsenal have made the final once under Arsene Wenger in 2006 when they lost to Barcelona. Arsenal have had an unbeaten start in the league with a particularly hard fought draw against Man City, showing they’ve added more steel to their performances. Mikel Arteta has added experience to his squad with unwanted stars from Premiership rivals, Trossard, Jorginho, Havertz, Jesus and Sterling. Injured Odegaard is a miss, but the mergence of Nwaneri might compensate for that. PSG, despite buying the best players and the best managers, have always under performed. They are now without their super star players, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, but maybe better for it as they’re playing more as a team under manager Luis Enrique. However tonight PSG are without Ousmane Dembele who has had a falling out with his manager which weakens the French side. A close game in prospect, but Arsenal to win.
