Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups
Mikel Arteta knows the importance of the upcoming game against Liverpool on Sunday. Last weekend his side suffered defeat at the hands of Bournemouth in a match that saw Arsenal reduced to ten men yet again, as William Saliba was sent off for a last-man challenge.
The red card has added to Arteta’s woes as he already has several injuries within his squad. Although they have not been ruled out by the manager, the trio of Timber, Saka, and Calafiori are all doubts heading into Sunday’s game.
Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League table and have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign under new manager Arne Slot. ‘The Reds’ have won their last four games in the league and look like a side that is capable of challenging for the title.
This weekend they will be without forward Diogo Jota who is injured so we expect Darwin Nunez to start up front, especially as he scored on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
We are predicting a score draw in this one.
Predicted lineups:
Arsenal: Raya, Partey, White, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Merino, Trossard, Saka, Martinelli, Havertz
Liverpool: Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, McAllister, Jones, Diaz, Salah, Darwin
