Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups

On matchday one, Bournemouth held Forest to a 1-1 draw while Newcastle managed to hold onto a narrow win at home against Southampton.

Andoni Iraola may decide to hand a debut to the club’s new record signing Evanilson who has been brought in to fill the shoes of Dominic Solanke. New defender Dean Huijsen had a solid game deputizing for Marcos Senesi and may keep his place in the side after impressing.

Newcastle will be without key defender Fabian Schar for Sunday’s game as he was controversially sent off last time out. This adds to Eddie Howe’s defensive woes with Sven Botman already ruled out for several months. We expect Emil Krafth or Jamal Lewis to replace the Swiss international this weekend.

We are predicting a score draw in this one.

Predicted lineups:

Bournemouth: Neto, Araujo, Huijsen, Zabaryni, Kerkez, Cook, Scott, Outtara, Tavernier, Semenyo, Evanilson

Newcastle: Pope, Livramento, Krafth, Burn, Hall, Bruno G, Longstaff, Joelinton, Gordon, Murphy, Isak
