Match predictions & preview
New coach and captain for England’s white ball team. Matthew Mott resigned as coach after England’s recent dismal performances, to be replaced by Marcus Trescothick on a temporary basis until Brendan McCallum takes over all forms in the New Year. Phil Salt is also the temporary captain while Jos Buttler recovers from injury. Australia with a new look side had three warm-up games against Scotland which they won easily with Travis Head, Cameron Green and Josh Inglis all producing good batting performances. England too have an inexperienced look with Jordan Cox and Josh Bethell making their England debuts. It seems to be Australia’s more experienced batsmen against England’s more experienced bowlers and vice versa. We thinks Mitchell Marsh’s team will win the series with two more matches at Cardiff and Manchester. Then come 5 ODIs. Thank god for global warning which allows us to have all this cricket in September.
