Match predictions & preview

England can cement their top-spot position in their UEFA Nations League group on Sunday when they face Ireland.

On Thursday night, a makeshift England side comfortably defeated Greece. Goals from Ollie Watkins, Curtis Jones, and an own goal helped ‘The Three Lions’ to a convincing win and propelled Lee Carsley’s team into first place in their group.

The interim manager must now decide whether to go with the same eleven that played so well in Greece or to shuffle the pack. Captain Harry Kane is expected to start the game after he had to settle for a place on the bench last time out.

We predict that England will get the win on Sunday.
