Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups

Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off sees Enzo Maresca and his side go up against the team he guided to promotion from the Championship last season, Leicester City.

The current Chelsea manager will no doubt be greeted with a warm welcome upon his return to the King Power Stadium, but he will hope to leave the home fans disappointed on this occasion. On the injury front captain Reece James has been ruled out with yet another injury and midfielder Romeo Lavia is also a doubt for Saturday’s game.

The hosts currently sit in fifteenth place in the Premier League and have several players missing for the match against Chelsea. Influential playmaker Facundo Buonanotte is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season last time out. Abdul Fatawu will also be missing as he suffered an ACL injury during his time away with Ghana and it is rumored that this could be the end of the winger’s season.

We predict that Chelsea will come away with all three points.

Predicted lineups:

Leicester: Hermansen, Justin, Vestergaard, Faes, Kristiansen, Winks, Ndidi, Soumare, Ayew, Mavididi, Vardy

Chelsea: Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella, Enzo, Caicedo, Madueke, Neto, Palmer, Jackson
