Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups

Both sides are coming off midweek wins in the EFL Cup and will now look ahead to a huge clash this weekend in the Premier League.

The home side has improved in recent weeks, with two decent performances against Chelsea in their last two games. Striker Isak seems to have found his shooting boots as he scored in his last two outings.

Mikel Arteta managed the minutes of some of his players midweek during their EFL Cup win against Preston where his side managed to win comfortably, collecting a clean sheet in the process.

The manager revealed that key defender Gabriel may be in line to return to the squad for the upcoming game as he was forced off last weekend when they faced Liverpool. Jurrien Timber should also be fit to play, whilst captain Martin Odegaard remains sidelined.

We predict that Arsenal will come away with all three points on Saturday.

Predicted lineups:

Newcastle: Pope, Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall, Bruno G, Joelinton, Tonali, Gordon, Barnes, Isak

Arsenal: Raya, Partey, Gabriel, Saliba, Timber, Rice, Merino, Trossard, Saka, Martinelli, Havertz
