Match predictions, preview & predicted lineups

Newcastle are undefeated so far this season, although they may count themselves lucky to have come away with a point from last weekend’s game against Bournemouth after the home side had a late goal controversially disallowed for handball.

Defender Fabian Schar serves the final game of his suspension so Emil Krafth should continue in the center of defense alongside Dan Burn. Sandro Tonali returned midweek in the Carabao Cup and will be involved in the Premier League for the first time since his ban.

Ange Postecoglu’s side is coming off an impressive win at home against Everton which saw them put four goals past their opponents. They managed to cruise to victory without their new signing and main striker Dominic Solanke who remains a doubt for the trip up North.

We predict a goal fest at St. James’ Park with the game ending in a draw.

Predicted lineups:

Newcastle: Pope, Trippier, Krafth, Burn, Livramento, Longstaff, Bruno G, Joelinton, Murphy, Gordon, Isak

Tottenham: Vicario, Porro, van de Ven, Romero, Udogie, Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son, Johnson
