San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks
Friday October 11, 01:15
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV

San Francisco’s injury woes continued last week as kicker Jake Moody was sidelined and he proved to be a costly absentee in their defeat to divisional rivals, the Arizona Cardinals. With Christian McCaffrey still out, the Niners are struggling at 2-3 to live up to their pre-season expectations, and a trip to another divisional rival in the Seahawks is not going to be easy.

Especially when the home side are looking to bounce back from a shock defeat to the New York Giants last time out on their own patch. Seattle have looked good this year though and will iron out those issues that cost them on big plays last week.

The 49ers have the experience and quality on both sides of the ball to get the job done in this one, but they’re just not healthy and at their best right now. This is another really tough match-up for them, and we can see their problems mount as they slip to 2-4 with the Seahawks turning back to their run game to get the better of them.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Chicago Bears
Sunday October 13, 14:30
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV

While it might not be the stand-out London fixture this season, the Jacksonville Jaguars arrive having finally got their first win of the season, and that should be a crucial confidence boost for Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the roster.

And although the Bears touch down in the English capital off the back of consecutive wins, it’s worth noting that although Caleb Williams looks to be improving and their offensive is starting to get going, they did beat an injury-ravaged Los Angeles Rams and a hapless Carolina Panthers in those two outings.

In turn, this could be a real slog between two teams battling for a win, but we’re going with the Jaguars to edge it with their experience of these London road trips playing a key role.

Washington Commanders @ Baltimore Ravens
Sunday October 13, 18:00
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV

My, oh my. Jayden Daniels vs Lamar Jackson is here.

After years of pain, mediocrity and controversy, the Washington Commanders are not only relevant, but they’re looking like a legitimate threat coming out of the NFC East.

Led by Daniels who is flying in his rookie year and looking like a stud quarterback already, they have the chance to make a huge statement with a win in Baltimore on Sunday.

The problem though, is that the 3-2 Ravens are on a three-game winning streak as they get themselves together after a poor start, and we’re backing them to make it four on the bounce in what could be a thrilling shoot-out between two dangerous offenses.

Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys
Sunday October 13, 21:25
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV

The Cowboys have got themselves back on track with back-to-back wins to move to 3-2, but their performances at home have been a concern so far this season.

Having squeezed past the Pittsburgh Steelers and with a short turnaround this week, we’re going with the Detroit Lions to leave Texas with a victory.

At 3-1, Jared Goff and Co. are chasing down the Minnesota Vikings for top spot in the NFC North, and they have the quality and depth across their roster to get another big win in this one having had a chance to rest over their bye week too.

Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Giants
Monday October 14, 01:20
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV

Although the Cincinnati Bengals are 1-4 for the season, Joe Burrow is playing at a high level and his receiver group is starting to put it together as they lost a heartbreaker against the Ravens last week in OT.

And while the New York Giants won in Seattle last week, and are arguably sneakily better than most think having been in contention to win every game this season so far, they’re going to find it hard to stop Burrow.

This will be relatively close and it’s a primetime game so the home crowd will make it a more difficult challenge, but it’s a Bengals win for me.

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets
Tuesday October 15, 01:15
Sky Sports NFL/NOW TV and Channel 5

Having opted to sack head coach Robert Saleh this week, the New York Jets host AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills, just days later in what promises to be a difficult showdown for them.

The Bills are on a two-game losing skid at the moment so they don’t make the short trip to New Jersey with much confidence or momentum, but we’re backing Josh Allen and his guys to find a way to win.

Crucial to that though will be their defence, as Aaron Rodgers is getting hit hard and with great frequency this season, and if the Bills can put pressure on him, limit his influence, they should pile more misery on the Jets as their season continues to underwhelm.

Sumeet’s NFL prediction record so far this season: 10-9.
