Match preview, prediction & teams

Scotland can expect a torrid afternoon at Murrayfield as the Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus has picked a 7-1 bench with only one back. His reasoning that each pack play one half with their match against England only six days away. With Handre Pollard selected at fly-half all thoughts of a more expansive South African can be binned for this match. It will certainly be a baptism of fire for new Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu and Finn Russell may wish he was playing for Bath rather than Scotland. The Springboks, World Cup holders and Rugby Championship winners, aim to end the year as number one in the world and victory at Murrayfield and Twickenham next week would cement that. A Springbok win in Edinburgh is the prediction.
