The fight between these two fighters has been brewing for some time now and this weekend they get the opportunity to settle the score. Champion Dricus du Plessis makes the first defense of his middleweight championship whilst Israel Adesanya attempts to become the title holder for the third time in his career.
The bad blood stems from Dricus claiming he was the first original UFC champion from Africa as he is the only one who resides there. Adesanya did not take too kindly to those words as he felt insulted, and ever since then it has been a fight that would inevitably happen at some point down the line.
Also on the card are some fan favorites from the Australasian region including Dan Hooker, Tai Tuvasa, and Kai Kara-France.
We predict that Israel Adesanya will win the fight by TKO or stoppage.
