After 73 matches in over two months we finally reach the final of the IPL 2024. The Knight Riders, who finished top of the table with nine wins, will be favourites to win their third title. Sunrisers Hyderabad finished second and beat longtime leaders Rajasthan Royals in the play-offs to earn their place in the final. Kolkata easily beat Hyderabad by eight wickets in the first play-off with Mitchell Starc man-of-the-match with figures of 3 for 34.
