Who has the rights to Live Boxing on TV in the UK in 2025?
Sky Sports
- Sky’s current four-year broadcast deal with promotional company ‘Boxxer’ is set to expire in 2025. It is yet to be known whether or not Sky Sports will extend its deal with ‘Boxxer’. We will keep you up to date with any new developments in this situation.
- Sky Sports is the home of UK and Ireland’s ‘Top Rank’ events thanks to a new licensing agreement with the promotional company. Viewers will be able to see fighters from Bob Arum’s stable including Artur Beterbiev, Vasiliy Lomachenko, plus other big names.
DAZN
- Queensbury Promotions has decided to cut ties with TNT Sports and begin a new journey with their latest media partner DAZN. From April 2025 you will be able to see live action from Frank Warren’s stable on the OTT Sports streaming platform.
- Already on DAZN is Eddie Hearn’s matchroom stable which has been with the platform since 2021 having inked a five-year deal. On DAZN you will now be able to watch the best fighters from both of the biggest boxing stables in the UK, featuring the likes of Anthony Joshua, Daniel Dubois, and many more.
- As it is an OTT streaming platform you can access the app through your TV and multiple other devices.
TNT Sports
- As of April, there will be no Boxing content available on TNT Sports, so we will have to see what 2025 brings for Boxing on TNT Sports. As Boxxers’ contract with Sky Sports is expiring, there may be an opportunity for TNT Sports to negotiate a deal if they decide to continue to show live Boxing on their channel.
