Week 2 of the NFL is upon us after a thrilling opener to the 2024 season, and here’s how to follow all the action on Sky Sports this weekend…
The Buffalo Bills kicked us off this week with a win over rivals the Miami Dolphins in their Thursday Night Football showdown, but there’s plenty more to come from across the pond in the coming days.

Each week, Sky Sports will broadcast two games from the earlier slates on Sunday, followed by the primetime games on both Sunday and Monday night.
Sky Sports Mix will keep you updated across all games with NFL Redzone, while you can watch any other game live through the NFL Game Pass on DAZN. Meanwhile, there will be a terrestrial TV option too, with Channel 5 showing every Monday Night Football live game.
Sunday
18:00: San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings
After an impressive win over the New York Jets in Week 1, the Niners hit the road to face the Vikings, who saw off the hapless New York Giants with ease to build some early-season confidence of their own.
With their off-the-field issues sorted and an almost full roster at Kyle Shanahan’s disposal, San Francisco are going to be a hard team to beat once again this year, but they’ll be an even more formidable opponent when Christian McCaffrey is given the green light to return from injury.
His absence didn’t bother them too much last time out with Jordan Mason stepping up, and we expect them to get the better of Minnesota this week to move to 2-0.
21:25: Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs
After a underwhelming opening-weekend performance, concern was quickly raised over Joe Burrow and a potential lingering wrist issue. While the Bengals quarterback brushed off questions after their surprise defeat to the New England Patriots, we’ll see this week if it’s a laughing matter in Cincinnati.
The Chiefs did what the Chiefs do in Week 1, albeit they had a huge call go their way in their win over the Baltimore Ravens, but despite Burrow and the Bengals enjoying positive results at Arrowhead previously, we’re backing the defending Super Bowl champions to get another victory on the board.
Monday
01:20: Chicago Bears @ Houston Texans
While it was a disappointing start to NFL life for QB Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears, CJ Stroud and his exciting receiver corps dragged the Houston Texans to a close win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Still, the Bears joined them at 1-0 after seeing off the Tennessee Titans, but they’ll have to make a significant jump this week if they’re to follow that up with another win.
It’s a Texans win for us, with the Bears defence struggling to keep Stroud and his offensive weapons quiet.
Tuesday
01:15: Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles
What a start to life in Philly for Saquon Barkley. The ex-Giants running back led his new team to a win over the Green Bay Packers in Brazil with a stand-out performance, and he’ll look to repeat that at home against the Falcons to wrap up Week 2.
The Falcons fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers last time out, and although Jalen Hurts is going to have to tidy up his play moving forward, we don’t see Atlanta being too much of a problem for Philadelphia as they will put another win on the board.
Given how last week’s game went, expect them to lean on Barkley to continue to get him going and leading their charge this season.
