England v Brazil – Wembley – Channel 4 – 19:00
No longer the exotic fixture of the past when this was one of the only chances to see great Brazilian footballers as most of now play in Europe and many in the Premier League. That said Man Utd’s Casemiro and both Gabriels from Arsenal will be missing as will be Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer for England. So a chance for the fringe England players to stake a claim to be included in Gareth Southgate’s Euro squad. Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins will vie to be Harry Kane’s backup and there should be chances for Anthony Gordon and Kobbie Mainoo from the subs bench. Both James Maddison and Conor Gallagher should cement their places for the summer to play alongside Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.. Brazil are very much in transition, having lost their last three games against South American rivals, Uruguay, Colombia and Argentina. So expect some new faces, but still with a sprinkling of Premiership players including Bruno Guimares, Douglas Luiz and Lucas Paqueta along with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo. An interesting game in prospect with both sides probably happy to settle for a draw.

Saracens v Harlequins – ITV 1 – 15:05
The Premiership returns with a mouth watering game in prospect, Saracens against Quins. After yesterday’s surprise defeats for both leaders Northampton and Leicester, there is everything to play for with only two points separating Harlequins in second place and Leicester in seventh to make the top 4 play-offs. With England’s 6 Nations player of the tournament Ben Earl returning for Saracens also bolstered by a rested Owen Farrell face Marcus Smith and Danny Care. A hard fought close game with Saracens to come out on top and replace Quins in second place in the table.

Australian GP – Melbourne – Sky Sports F1 – 04:00
So the FI the circus moves on to Melbourne and nothing much has changed from last year. What’s happening behind the scenes is much more interesting than what’s happening on the track. Red Bull is still the dominant team with Max Versttapen winning the first two Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He has taken pole position in Melbourne ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz so short of a miracle it will be win number three for Verstappen.
