Match predictions, preview

This is a must-win game for Jurgen Klopp and his side if they want to stay in with a chance of winning the Premier League. Last time out they were outfought and beaten by rivals Everton at Goodison Park in what was a dismal performance by their standards.

Top Scorer, Mo Salah is without a goal now in his last three league games and will be hoping to find some of his form from earlier in the season. ‘The Reds’ expect to have Cody Gakpo back and available after missing out midweek due to the birth of his child.

West Ham are also not in great form coming into this fixture. They conceded five goals at the hands of Crystal Palace during the week, so the manager will be expecting to see a major improvement this weekend.

In his press conference on Friday, David Moyes said that he expects to have Jarrod Bowen available, which will be a huge boost for the side. ‘The Irons’ currently sit in eighth place in the league and still have the prospect of European football to play for so they should still be highly motivated to get a result. Having said that, we predict an away win for Liverpool on Saturday.

How to watch Everton vs Brentford

Everton host Brentford in Saturday’s early evening kick-off, with both sides looking to maintain their good form as of late. A win for either team would see them all but safe from relegation. Here is how you can watch all the action…

Match predictions, preview

Confidence will be high in the Everton camp as they are coming off two wins on the bounce. Sean Dyche’s side produced a heroic performance last time out against neighbors Liverpool, putting a huge dent in their title hopes.

Their win on Wednesday did come at a cost as defender Vitalii Mykolenko was forced off with an injury after landing awkwardly on his ankle. He is expected to miss out this weekend.

Brentford have been scoring goals for fun as of late, having found the net ten times in their last three games. The timely return of forward Bryan Mbuemo has helped fill the void left by Ivan Toney who hasn’t featured since his brief cameo against Aston Villa. Thomas Frank has said that there is a chance the England international may return against ‘The Toffees’ on Saturday.

We expect a close game at Goodison Park. Both sides will be happy to come away with a point so a score draw is our prediction.

Match predictions, preview

Champions League-chasing Aston Villa host Chelsea in the late kick-off on Saturday as Unai Emery’s side know three points here will heap further pressure on Tottenham to keep up with their pace.

Villa have seen off Arsenal and Bournemouth in impressive fashion in their last two league outings, and having also advanced to the Europa Conference League semi-finals, they will be feeling confident coming into this clash with Mauricio Pochettino’s struggling outfit.

After a bitterly disappointing exit from the FA Cup, the Blues were hammered 5-0 by Arsenal in midweek, and while they’ll be boosted by the return of talisman Cole Palmer this weekend, they’re still without a string of key players with Enzo Fernandez the latest to be sidelined.

Pochettino will demand a response from his players after their heavy defeat last time out and so expect Chelsea to be more competitive. However, with a week’s rest and so much to play for in their four remaining league games, back Villa to put pressure on the visitors from the first whistle and secure a league double over them to further strengthen their hopes of a top-four finish.
