Bath really need to win this one after a good win at Exeter last weekend. This would cement second place for a home game in the play-off semi-finals, probably against Saracens again. And they did it without star player Finn Russell. It would be great to see Russell up against Owen Farrell again, especially as Farrell is off to Racing 92 where Russell played last season. The outcome of the game is very much in balance with the two back rows as influential as the flyhalfs, Sam Underhill and Alfie Barbeary up against Ben Earl and Billy Vunipola. Difficult to call, but go for Bath with home advantage.

Harlequins vs Northampton – Saturday April 27, 15:05

Where: The Stoop
How:
UK – TNT Sports 1/Discovery+
Denmark – Viaplay
Norway – Viaplay
Sweden – Viaplay
Australia – Stan Sport

Northampton look invincible this year, particularly after a hard fought win in the East Midlands derby last weekend against Leicester. The match also pitches together England’s two surviving teams in this year’s European Champions Cup semi-finals next weekend. Both have tough away fixtures so one can be forgiven if they have their minds on those games rather than this
weekend. Quins need the win more than Northampton so on that basis are favoured to win.
