Sunday

Football

FA Community Shield – Man City v Arsenal – Wembley – ITV1 – 16.00

Man City destroyed Arsenal in the league twice last year to show the gap in class between first and second. Arsenal have rebuilt extensively and expensively in the close season bringing Declan Rice from West Ham, Kai Havertz from Chelsea and Jurrien Timber from Ajax, while Man City haven’t splashed until this week when they bought Josko Gvardiol  It will be odd to see two former Chelsea team mates, Jorginho and Kovacic facing each other in midfield. Will Arsenal’s new boys have had time to bed in or will a more settled Man City prevail? Could be close, maybe penalties, but Man City to remain the top dog.
