DAZN have announced that they have secured the rights for the Roshn Saudi Pro League for the next two years over multiple territories.
Following a number of significant transfers this year which have seen the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and many more make the move to Saudi Arabia, interest from around the world has unsurprisingly grown in the competition.

Off the back of that, there has been a wait to determine who the international broadcaster would be, and DAZN have now confirmed their intended schedule moving forward.
As per their press release this week, DAZN have secured the rights for the next two years, with customers in the UK and Ireland, Germany, Austria, Canada and Belgium able to watch three RSL matches per week.
It’s added that having struck a deal with IMG, DAZN will broadcast all of Al Nassr’s matches, and that is of course significant given they boast a number of the most high-profile players to have made the switch to the league from Europe, including Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 2023/24 campaign begins on Friday with Al-Ahli facing Al-Hazm in the season opener, which will be live on DAZN in the territories detailed above, and with the summer transfer window far from closed for the Saudi clubs, it remains to be seen who else could yet join the league to continue its growth and progression in the coming years.
Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said: “DAZN is constantly in the market talking to leagues, associations and competitions looking for the best in sport and entertainment for our customers. The RSL is rapidly developing into an international phenomenon, attracting some incredible talent that will only improve an already strong and vibrant competition. It’s a great opportunity for DAZN to deliver greater and deserved prominence for the RSL, its clubs and the Saudi game more generally, as well as adding even more quality content to our platform for our subscribers.”
