Where to watch the Premier League 2024/25 season in the UK: TV rights, schedule

The 2024/25 Premier League season gets underway this weekend, with Sky, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime set to share broadcasting rights ahead of a new deal starting ahead of the next campaign.

As per the current agreement, Sky Sports will show 128 games live on their respective platforms and channels, while TNT Sports will broadcast 52 games, and Amazon Prime will show a further 20, taking the total games available to audiences in the UK to 200 this year.

While Sky’s share will increase from next season onwards as part of a new £6.7bn package that was agreed last December with more games being shown, the broadcasting giant will kick things off on Friday night, as Manchester United host Fulham in the Premier League curtain-raiser at Old Trafford.

While the Premier League is of course the main attraction on a global scale for many broadcasters, the UK rights for other competitions are as follows:

Sky Sports

  • Premier League – 128 live matches from the Premier League until 2024/25.
  • EFL – live matches from the EFL including live coverage of the Championship, League One, League Two, and exclusive live coverage of the EFL Play-Offs until 2028/29.
  • Carabao Cup – live coverage of the Carabao Cup including the Carabao Cup final live from Wembley until 2028/29.
  • EFL Trophy – including exclusive coverage of the EFL Trophy final live from Wembley until 2028/29.
  • Scottish Premiership – up to 60 live games a season from the Scottish Premiership including every Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers until 2028/29.
  • German Bundesliga – live matches from the Bundesliga until 2024/25.
  • FA WSL – two exclusive FA WSL live fixtures each week until 2024/25.

TNT Sports

  • Premier League – 52 live games from the Premier League until 2024/25.
  • UEFA Champions League – live coverage of the UEFA Champions League including the UEFA Champions League final until 2026/27.
  • UEFA Europa League – exclusive live coverage of the UEFA Europa League including the UEFA Europa League final until 2026/27.
  • UEFA Europa Conference League – exclusive live coverage of the UEFA Europa Conference League including the UEFA Europa League final until 2026/27.
  • UEFA Super Cup – live coverage of the 2024 UEFA Super Cupbetween Real Madrid v Atalanta.
  • UEFA Youth League – live coverage of the UEFA Youth League until 2026/27.
  • Serie A – live coverage of at least five games per round from Serie A until 2026/27.

Amazon Prime Video

  • Premier League – 20 live games from the Premier League until 2024/25.
  • UEFA Champions League – first-pick of the Tuesday UEFA Champions League matches until 2026/27.

  • UEFA Nations League – live coverage of the UEFA Nations Leagueincluding Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales matches.
  • Scottish Premiership – up to 20 live games a season from the Scottish Premiership until 2028/29.
  • Scottish Cup – coverage of the Scottish Cup including the Scottish Cup final until 2028/29.
  • Premier Sports Cup – exclusive live coverage of the Premier Sports Cup including the Premier Sports Cup final until 2026/27.
  • La Liga – live coverage of every available match from La Liga until 2024/25.

  • FA Cup – live coverage of up to 18 live FA Cup matches including the FA Cup final live from Wembley until 2024/25.
