Newcastle have had a mixed season, but are unbeaten at home in 2024. They had a good win away against Fulham last weekend, but Spurs should prove a harder task, Newcastle have also been in some high scoring games at St James’s Park this season and this could be another. Tottenham to win by the odd goal in five and cement their Champion League place.

Iraola and his side will fancy their chances this weekend when coming up against one of the most inconsistent sides in the league. Despite losing last time out against Luton, ‘The Cherrie’s’ will be confident they can keep up their impressive home form, having only lost twice at the Vitality all season.

This is a must win game for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they look to keep up with their fellow rivals at the top of the table. After drawing at Old Trafford last weekend and a very poor showing on Thursday against Atalanta, they will need to find some kind of form on Sunday. The timely return of forward Diogo Jota is a big boost for ‘The Reds’, especially as they have squandered many opportunities in recent games. Trent Alexander-Arnold was a part of the squad on Thursday evening but he will probably have to make do with a place on the bench.Despite conceding four in their last game Palace gave a good account of themselves against Manchester City, troubling them on the counter attack on several occasions.
It will be interesting to see if Oliver Glasner is tempted to give Michael Olise his first start after returning from injury last week.
It is probably a bad time to come up against a highly motivated Liverpool outfit. We predict a convincing win for the home side.
