Match predictions, preview

Even though it is mathematically possible for Liverpool to still win the league, they know it is extremely unlikely at this stage. There is no doubt that Jurgen Klopp will ensure that his side is fighting until the very end, so we do not expect any change in approach or intensity this Sunday.

Fans will be pleased to hear their manager play down the so-called rift between himself and Mo Salah therefore it would be fair to assume that the Egyptian will be recalled to the side. In less positive news, captain Virgil Van Dijk is a doubt for the game having not trained much this week in the build-up.

Spurs have now lost three games on the bounce in the league and have been struggling lately. Ange Postecoglu was left fuming after his team’s performance against Chelsea on Thursday night so we expect a few changes to the starting lineup. James Maddison will likely come back into contention after being forced to settle for a place on the bench last time out. We predict goals in this one with Liverpool picking up all three points.
